The National Weather Service issued a high wind advisory Wednesday for much of eastern Wisconsin, including the northeast region.
Strong wind gusts can topple tall trees, posing a threat for animals still roaming outside down below.
Neil Anderson, NEW Zoo and Adventure Park Director, gave a look at how the zoo keeps some of its animals safe.
The NEW Zoo is open seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
