Packer wives face off on the football field to "finish the fight" against breast cancer
GREEN BAY —
The date has been set for the annual pink powderpuff football game featuring the wives and girlfriends of the Green Bay Packers. Heaven Daniels, wife of Defensive End Mike Daniels, is co-chairing the event this year. She joined Rachel Manek on Good Day Wisconsin. Daniels says this year the "Gridiron Divas" will hit the field on Tuesday, October 27th at Ashwaubenon High School. The event was started three years ago by Shantrelle Williams, wife of former Packer Tramon Williams, who has many family members who battled breast cancer. This year, the proceeds will help support the American Cancer Society and Ashwaubenon Sting Cancer.
Tickets: $7 for adults, $5 for students and 5 and under are free.
