It's opening day of gun deer season 2017
CRIVITZ (WLUK) -- Hunters are up in their stands and out in their blinds hoping to bag a buck for this year's gun deer season.
But after you bag that trophy deer, many people are taking them somewhere to start the venison making process.
FOX 11's Lauren Kalil was live from Pelkin's Smokey Meat Market in Crivitz getting an inside look at how hot sticks, steaks and different types of venison are made.
