Friday Fitness: Three stretches to do everyday for overall wellness

GREEN BAY (WLUK) -- Nick Rozek of the Green Bay YMCA shared three stretches you can do to live a better life.

1. The Seated Hip Stretch which allows hips to move with freedom and stability

2. The Chest Stretch that keeps shoulders and spine from rounding forward

3. The Thoracic Spine Rotation which is great for golf and tennis, backing out of driveway, and everyday movements

Rozek says it's important to do the following when stretching: breathe, have patience and be consistent. He says any change in the way you feel takes time.

Rozek is the Y's "Workplace Wellness Coordinator" and specializes in showing businesses how to create a healthier workplace environment. The goal is to increase productivity, reduce absenteeism and help lower insurance claims by designing on-site programming that can include:
