Fly a Kite Fest back in Green Bay Saturday


GREEN BAY - Colorful kites of all shapes and sizes are taking to the skies in Green Bay Saturday.

The Arnie Wolff Sports Complex will be the site of the second annual Fly a Kite Fest.

The event runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. It's free, and open to the public.

All proceeds from concessions sales will support healthy child development programs at Family & Childcare Resources of N.E.W.

Some activities featured include a giant show and precision stunt kite demonstration, kite decorating for the kids, face painting, a candy drop.

People could also check out a "Running of the Bols" event featuring local celebrities.
