Expansion and renovation at CP in Allouez
ALLOUEZ (WLUK) -- A new addition at CP in Allouez is leading to plenty of excitement for everyone involved with the facility. This expasion allows for the relocation of four core programs: Therapy Services, which offers speech, physical and occupational therapy will gain new treatment rooms and two large therapy gyms. CP Early Education & Care-- CP's inclusive childcare program will gain an additional classroom. and CP's administrative staff will also move into the building.
The new addition is only one phase of the project, as a second phase is now underway to renovate a majority of the current building-- turning the old administrative areas and the former childcare into new flexible program space for the growing Adult Day Services program and a new lounge and locker room space at the Aquatic Center.
Increasing their physical footprint to approximately 68,000 square feet, the Adult Day Services program is expected to increase by 30 people a day, CP Early Education & Care by 16 children a day and Therapy Services by 31 people a month. The total project is scheduled to be completed in September. Justin Steinbrinck spent the morning hearing more about this new expansion and renovation, and how it will affect families and staff at CP.
