      Jalapeno Popper Burgers

      Ingredients:

      1 1/2 lbs ground chuck

      Salt and pepper

      1/4 cup fresh sliced or pickled jalapeno peppers

      4 ounces softened cream cheese

      4 split and toasted rolls

      Sautéd onions (optional)

      Directions:

      Make 4 patties with the ground chuck.

      Season them with a little salt and pepper.

      Grill or fry burgers, flipping once.

      Just before they are done spread each with some cream cheese.

      Top each with a some jalapeno peppers.

      Cover until cheese melts.

      Serve burgers on warm rolls with onions if you like.
