APPLETON - You didn't have to go very far Sunday to get a taste of flavors from all over the world and help support local students.
Thousands of people turned out in Appleton for Xavier High School's annual International Food Fair.
They could sample tasty German, Dutch, and Middle Eastern treats as well as food from many other cultures.
Organizers say the money raised all goes back to the school to help with small repairs and projects.
It also helps support students and families with financial aid so that everyone can afford a quality education.
"We want to provide the environment where they can learn and grow in their faith, and develop a closer relationship with Christ, and go out into the world and become leaders in the Catholic church and the business community and government. So we want to make sure we're providing moral and ethical leaders for the future in all areas," said Xavier principal, Matt Reynebeau.
There was also a silent auction, as well as a bakery and fun games for kids to play.
This was the 42nd year for the event.
