GREEN BAY - An outdoor festival carried on despite the cold weather in Green Bay Saturday.
People flocked to the 11th annual Winterfest on Broadway.
It was a sunny, but frigid, day for the event.
In fact, some activities were cancelled due to the cold, including hayrides and the dog pull.
However, the ice sculpting competition was in full force.
People who attended the event said the sculptures are always an impressive sight to see.
"I've seen them driving past, but never up close and personal, so just seeing all the hard work that they put into them is really awesome," said Cheri Hagenow of Two Rivers.
For those who did not want to stay outdoors, there were some indoor activities to keep people warm.
Wisconsin Public Service sponsored a "Family Fun Center" complete with games and face painting for kids.
