Vikings fan acquitted of most serious charge in postgame fight
GREEN BAY - A Minnesota Vikings fan was acquitted of a felony battery charge for a fight in a parking lot near Lambeau Field after a Packers-Vikings game in 2012.
A jury found Mark Swanson not guilty of punching Shawn Hrubesky of Green Bay. Swanson, of Lakeland, Minn., claimed it was self-defense.
The jury did convict Swanson of misdemeanor disorderly conduct. Sentencing is April 4.
