The deaths of two men in Brandon Wednesday night was a murder-suicide, the Fond du Lac Sheriff’s Department confirmed Thursday morning.

Ronald Kolosky, 56, shot and killed Bradley Thayer, 55, before killing himself, according to Lt. Cameron McGee. Both men are from Ripon

No motive for the incident has been released.


BRANDON, Wis. (AP) - Fond du Lac County sheriff's officials say two people have been fatally shot in the village of Brandon.

Sheriff Mick Fink says two men were found dead inside a trailer home Wednesday. Authorities got a call about 5 p.m. from a woman who reported the shooting.

Fink tells Action Reporter Media the shooting appears to be a murder-suicide. He says there is no apparent threat to the community.

The sheriff says the woman was in the trailer when one man entered with a handgun and shot the other man before taking his own life.


VILLAGE OF BRANDON - The Fond du Lac County Sheriff's Department says two people are dead following a shooting in the Village of Brandon Wednesday night.

It happened around 5:15 p.m. at a home on Bowen Street, just across the street from the Brandon Elementary and Middle School.

Authorities at the scene tell FOX 11 two males were found dead of gunshot wounds at the residence.

The sheriff's department says the public is not at risk.
