Blair LaRose, 32, and Ashley Fay, 26, both of Salem, were charged this week with selling heroin and endangering the safety of a child.
The Racine County sheriff's office says LaRose and Fay sold heroin to undercover officers three times. The suspects allegedly had the children, ages 1 and 3, with them on two of those occasions.
Deputies say the suspects even offered to leave one child behind to ensure they came back with more drugs.
A call to their public defender's office after hours Saturday disconnected without taking a message.
Drug agents from Racine and Kenosha served a search warrant at the suspects' home, which was in "deplorable condition," the Racine County sheriff's department said in a statement. The agents seized unspecified drug paraphernalia.
The children have been placed in the protective custody of Kenosha Human Services.
