St. Norbert basketball sweeps Grinnell

DE PERE - The St. Norbert men's basketball team defeated Grinnell 113-88 on Saturday. The win was the 18th consecutive for the 6th ranked Green Knights. Kam Cerroni led all scorers with 27 points. Andrew Schwoerer added 23 for St. Norbert. Brandon Gries had 14 points, Garrett Thorn added 11, while Izaiah Anderson and Austin Elliot each added 10 points.  The men are now 20-1 and 16-0 in conference.

St. Norbert also took the women's game 64-51. Lana Tomashek led the Green Knights with 13 points. Heidi Van Sistine added 12 points. The Green Knights are now 17-4 and 14-2 in Midwest Conference play.

The St. Norbert men's hockey team won 7-0 over Northland on Saturday. The win clinches the NCHA title for the #1 ranked Green Knights. It's the 14th Northern Collegiate Hockey Association regular-season title in 18 years.
St. Norbert will host Lawrence in NCHA Harris Cup Playoffs quarterfinal series on Feb. 21-22 at Cornerstone Community Center. Both games set for 7 p.m.
