MACKVILLE - Some area farmers are looking for some help from above during the upcoming growing season.Green Bay Bishop Robert Morneau led Rural Life Days Wednesday at St. Edward Parish in Mackville.Farmers brought seeds, animals, and machinery to be blessed."The precious blessings we often take for granted of the land, the seeds, the harvest, all that farmers do for us, the meat we eat, the vegetables we consume, it's all a great blessing, so to start off spring time season and remembering God is the gift of the source of the blessings," said Rev. Dan Felton, St. Edward Parish.Any collection taken during the mass will go toward scholarships for students pursuing a degree supporting rural life.
