      Residents asked to keep water running

      Keep it running. That's what more communities are asking their residents to do with their tap water.

      Hortonville, Weyauwega,and Menominee, Michigan have joined the growing list of municipalities.

      All homes and businesses in those areas are asked to keep a trickle of cold water coming out of one faucet 24/7.

      That's to prevent the water from freezing, thus keeping the lines open.

      Residents will not be charged for the extra water usage.
