GREEN BAY - Music lovers gathered to celebrate all things vinyl.
Customers filled Rock N' Roll Land in Green Bay early Saturday morning.
They took part in what's quickly becoming a worldwide holiday, Record Store Day.
It is the one day of the year that independently owned record stores come together with artists to celebrate the art of music.
Special vinyl and CD releases and various promotional products are made exclusively for the day.
"It's record store everyday for us, we're always celebrating vinyl and we're always trying to get the young kids and younger people into music and coming up," said Rock N' Roll Land co-owner, Phil Doran.
According to Nielsen SoundScan, Record Store Day did record business last year.
Sales were up 3 percent from 2012.
And as CD sales decline, vinyl sales rose 32 percent last year, with six million records sold.
