FOND DU LAC - Three puppies removed from an apartment after bleach was poured on two of them will be in new homes by the weekend.Police say last month a 10-year-old boy retaliated against the dogs after one began biting his feet. That puppy was later found in a plastic bag in a nearby dumpster. Two puppies suffered injuries ranging from eye ulcers to lung damage. The Fond du Lac Humane Society says those two passed a vet check Wednesday."It's hard to believe that we're just two days short of a month that they have been with us and just to watch their progression over the last month is just outstanding and to know that they are going to be with adopters before the weekend is just incredible," said Renee Webb, Fond du Lac Humane Society manager. The boy's mother has been charged with failing to help the injured puppies. The third uninjured puppy was adopted last week.
