GREEN BAY - The Green Bay Phoenix women's basketball team rolled past Detroit 72-52 in the Horizon League regular season finale. The win clinches the conference crown outright for Kevin Borseth's club. It was also senior day for Green Bay as they honored Breannah Ranger and Sam Zastrow. Ranger scored a career high 20 points and pulled down four rebounds. Zastrow played 18 minutes, recording 4 points and 5 assists. Mehryn Kraker added 17 points for Green Bay. She also pulled down 12 rebounds, to record her first career double-double.
The Phoenix finish the regular season 20-8 overall and 13-3 in the Horizon League. Green Bay will now be the top seed and host of the Horizon League tournament.
