Not guilty plea entered in Oshkosh att. kidnapping case

OSHKOSH - A man charged with trying to abduct three children pleaded not guilty and not guilty by reason of mental disease Monday.Timothy Sullivan faces six attempted kidnapping counts for the October incident with three children. Authorities say Sullivan tried to lure three children into his car by telling them, he'd take them to grandma's house. He drove away when the children's mother approached.Winnebago County Judge Barbara Key ordered a psychiatric exam. No trial date was set. Sullivan returns to court Sept. 8.Sullivan had been found incompetent to stand trial, but was ruled competent last month. That ruling relates to Sullivan's ability to assist with his own defense. Monday's plea relates to his mental condition at the time of the incident.
