Some county leaders in the area hope orange construction cones stand out a little more this week, and in the future.It's National Work Zone Awareness Week. It's geared toward getting drivers to use more caution in work zones.Wisconsin's move over law was enacted to help traffic slow down not just for police but for construction crews as well. But there are still crashes."So far this year nearly 100 people including 14 pedestrians lost their lives in Wisconsin traffic crashes. This is unacceptable," said Outagamie County Executive Tom Nelson.According to the Department of Transportation, one person is injured every 15 minutes in work zone-related crashes nationwide.
