MILWAUKEE (AP) - Milwaukee police say the suspect who shot at an officer is wanted for questioning in a homicide investigation.

The detective was grazed by the gunman's bullet Thursday afternoon, but not seriously injured. The officer returned fire along with another detective. The 21-year-old shooter ran from the scene, dropping his pistol on the front lawn of a home before he was arrested.

Police say the suspect is a "person of interest" in the slaying of 34-year-old Bryson Brown at a gas station Tuesday.

Chief Edward Flynn says detectives recognized the suspect's car, pulled over near it and one of the occupants got out and started shooting.
