Layered Shrimp Dip

2 packages (8 ounces each) cream cheese, softened
2 tablespoons milk
2 teaspoons garlic salt
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 bottle (12 ounces) chili sauce

1 to  2 tablespoons prepared horseradish
1 pound small cooked shrimp
¼ to ¼ cup chopped scallions


Use a mixer and beat together the first five ingredients together until smooth. Spread into the bottom of a medium size casserole dish or on a pretty plate.  In another bowl mix together chili sauce and 1 to 2 tablespoons horseradish, depending on how spicy you want it.  Spoon chili sauce mixture  over top of cream cheese mixture. Spoon shrimp over the top.  If shrimp is a bit large you can chop it up a bit.  Cover loosely and refrigerate a few hours before serving.  Before serving sprinkle scallions on top. Serve chilled with crackers.  Note: This is a fun dip to serve in small clear plastic cups. Just layer ingredients in the cups.  Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.  That ways you can double dip all you want.  The cups look really cool on a buffet.  Each guest gets their own dip!   Dip away!
