      Jordy Nelson softball game rosters set

      GRAND CHUTE - Nearly three dozen Green Bay Packers players are scheduled to take to the field this weekend - the softball field.

      The players are participating in the Jordy Nelson Charity Softball Game Sunday afternoon at Fox Cities Stadium.

      Joining Nelson on the offensive team will be Wautoma native and former Wisconsin Badger Jared Abbrederis, Randall Cobb, Eddie Lacy, Josh Sitton and many more. The defensive team is headlined by Tramon Williams, B.J. Raji, Datone Jones and Mike Daniels.

      The parking lot opens at 9 a.m. and stadium gates open at 10 a.m. The day begins with a sponsor game at 11 a.m., a home run derby at 12 p.m. and the softball game starting at 1 p.m.

      A limited number of $12 general admission seats are available by phone at 1-800-948-4623, in person at the Fox Cities Stadium Box Office or online at timberrattlers.com.

      Proceeds from the game benefit Young Life, an organization for middle, high school and college students that pairs them with adults focused on fun, adventure and friendship.
