Information sought on cat that bit man

UPDATE: Police now say the man was 57 years old. The cat was gray with darker gray or black stripes. Its collar was described as a "worn looking" leather collar.


LITTLE CHUTE - Police are looking for information on a cat that bit a man.

Around 6 p.m. Saturday, police say the cat bit a 58-year-old man in the 500 block of W. Florida Ave. The cat was wearing a red collar with a heart-shaped name tag and the name "Taz" on it. The cat may have had its front claws removed. It was unclear whether the cat was male or female.

Information on the cat is needed to help determine what kind of medical care the man needs.
