FOND DU LAC - A Fond du Lac woman is now charged with animal abuse after two of her puppies were doused in bleach.

Investigators say Amanda Farr, 30, knew that her 10-year-old son poured bleach on the dogs, and then tossed one in a dumpster.

The son allegedly did so because one of the dogs was biting at his feet.

      The incident happened last month.

A neighbor heard one of the dogs in the trash.

The dogs, along with a third, were brought to the Humane Society where they continue to improve.
