APPLETON - For all the theater lovers out there, the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center has announced its new season of shows.
There's some old favorites and a few making their Wisconsin debut on the bill.
Thursday was the big night for season ticket holders at the Fox Cities P.A.C. They got the first glimpse of the upcoming season.
"I love it! I love it! I can't wait to come back and the do whole thing!" exclaimed Sandi Rohde of Darboy.
"We listen very carefully to what our audiences are saying as they're coming through the building, as they're contacting us through email or social media and letting us know what they loved here at the performing arts center and what they'd love to see coming up," explained P.A.C. executive vice president Maria Van Laanen.
Some of the shows on the list include Tony Award winning "Book of Mormon," and adaptations of the movies "A Christmas Story," and "Dirty Dancing." Others are returning fan favorites like "Mamma Mia!" and "Jersey Boys."
The lead actor from the "Jersey Boys" cast made an appearance and sang for the crowd Thursday.
"He's fabulous. We saw him in 2011 and it's good to see them come back," said fan Gary Rohde.
So other than the returning favorites, what are fans looking forward to seeing?
"Probably the Mormon one, that looked really funny," said Gary.
"I love the Christmas shows. That always gets everybody together and gets everybody in the mood, in the spirit of the season," said Sandi.
Van Laanen told us the P.A.C. Is able to bring in big broadway shows because of season ticket holders.
"So many people in our community have made a commitment to that package and that gets the attention of people in New York who are touring their shows," Van Laanen explained.
"We have some of the highest demand seats and we're not giving it up!" exclaimed Sandi Rohde.
