      Community encouraged to participate in Run as One Boston Marathon Tribute Run

      GREEN BAY - As runners take off for the 118th Boston Marathon today, local runners and walkers will do the same to show support and solidarity in light of the bombing tragedy at last year's race.The event, called the Run as One Boston Marathon Tribute Run, will take place at noon on the CityDeck in downtown Green Bay. It's free to the public.People can chose to run or walk a 1, 2 or 3-mile course along the Fox River Trail.Organizers say the event hopes tohonor those killed or injured in the 2013 Boston Marathon tragedyand tocelebrate the actions and strength of the Boston community and across the nation.Participants are encouraged to wear blue and yellow, thecolors affiliated with the Boston Marathon.For more information on the event, click here.{}
