Because of the threat of frozen pipes, many communities in the area are asking residents to run their water non-stop.Most of the following communities are recommending a constant stream the size of a pencil. Many communities also say they will adjust water bills so customers are not charged for the extra water used. Contact your local water utility to see how your bill will be handled. Many communities also warn that customers who do not run their water as directed will be responsible for the costs associated with frozen pipes.

Omro (Run water from at least one faucet for five minutes three times a day; leave a pencil-sized stream of water running overnight)

Pulaski (Residents need to call Jody at 822-4851 or Tom at 822-8618 to let the village know they're running their water, in order to not be charged for the extra water. If you don't call, there won't be a price adjustment)
