DE PERE - Thousands of unique pieces of history and collectables were on display and up for sale in De Pere Saturday.More than 65 collectors from across the Midwest showed off their antiques at St. Norbert College. It's part of the 22nd annual De Pere Antique Show and Sale. Some items dated back as far back as the 1870s. There were old photographs, vintage jewelery and even old-school Packers memorabilia.Organizers say every piece has an important place in history."It's really nice when people bring their kids in here, and they can learn something, touch and feel something that was here 100 years ago, 50 years ago, what grandma used to... How she used to work or eat, set the table. It's just neat. Neat, and I hope it never goes away," said show manager Audre Hanson. The show runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.
