GREEN LAKE - A former Waupun police officer pleaded not guilty Monday to charges he burglarized several stores before leading police on a cross-state chase.No trial date for Bradley Young was set, according to online court records. He faces a total of seven counts, including three of burglary.Green Lake County Judge Mark Slate denied Young's request that the $50,000 cash bond be reduced.Officials say he broke into grocery stores in Berlin and Markesan, and a restaurant in Green Lake last summer. He also faces charges in Barron and Burnett counties, connected to the manhunt for him. After his arrest, Young resigned from the Waupun Police Department.A status conference is set May 2 in Burnett County. A plea hearing is scheduled May 28 in Barron County.
