MADISON, Wis. (AP) - Posting explicit imagines of former boyfriends or girlfriends online as a way to embarrass them or cost them a job would be a new crime under a bill that has cleared the Wisconsin state Assembly. The bill passed on a voice vote Thursday would make it a misdemeanor to disseminate a nude picture without the subject's consent, regardless of whether the subject granted permission to capture the image. The act would be punishable by up to $10,000 in fines and nine months in jail.Several other states are considering similar legislation. The bill passed the Senate on Tuesday and now heads to Gov. Scott Walker.
