APPLETON - It's a sure sign warmer weather is on its way. After 22 weeks, the indoor winter farmers market in downtown Appleton wrapped up for the season Saturday.Nearly 50 vendors set up shop on the main floor of City Center Plaza.People shopped for fresh produce, baked goods and sweet treats among other things.Organizers say despite a brutal winter, this year's indoor market was a success."You can tell by attendance and talking to the vendors. They'll tell you how things have been going. Even on really bad snowy days, we still have people that come out, and the people that do come out, they come out because they know we're here and they want to get what they need for the week so it works out great," said director Djuanna Hugdahl. This year's summer market will start on June 21st.
