Fatal crash in Green Lake Co.

TOWNSHIP OF BROOKLYN – One man is dead after a two vehicle crash in Green Lake County that happened Sunday August 31st.

85-year-old Anthony S. Vranak from Ripon was pronounced dead at the scene.

On August 31st, the police were called at 3:06 p.m. to the intersection of County PP and McConnell Road in the Township of Brooklyn.

Officials found two vehicles, a 1995 Ford F350 truck and a 2006 Pontiac Torrent car, severely damaged. The car, driven by 47-year-old Brian S. Fralish of Berlin, was traveling east on McConnell Road and the truck, driven by Vranak, was traveling north on County PP, when they collided at the intersection.

Fralish was found with injuries.

This crash still remains under investigation by the Green Lake County Sheriff’s Office, Wisconsin State Patrol, and the Green Lake County Coroners Office.
