APPLETON – Want to see “The Book of Mormon” for $25? Some people will get that chance at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center.
The PAC has announced a lottery for the lower-priced tickets. Drawings will be held daily while the show is in Appleton later this month.
To enter, go to the PAC ticket office beginning two and a half hours before each performance and fill out a ticket. Each person can request one or two tickets.
Lotteries in other cities have attracted as many as 800 entries for some performances, PAC officials say.
Tickets for the show are usually at least $57.
“The Book of Mormon” includes a music and lyrics by Trey Parker and Matt Stone, the creators of the television show “South Park,” and Robert Lopez, co-creator of the musical comedy “Avenue Q.” The show has won nine Tony Awards, and the original Broadway cast recording won a Grammy Award.
“The Book of Mormon” runs from Sept. 16-21.
