GREEN BAY – Ahead of the regular season – the NFL is picking ticket holders’ brains.
Like what you see – aside from the on-the-field performance? How many games do you attend? How satisfied are you as a season ticket holder and what factors might play in to you not renewing your tickets?
Those are just some of the questions being asked by an NFL survey.
Some Packers season ticket holders received an email with a link to the online survey. A Packers spokesperson says the survey isn’t new.
It goes out each year to a portion of the thousands of season ticket holders with email addresses on file.
The spokesperson says the results are shared among the league’s teams to better serve fans – which has been a focus of the Packers organization over the last several years. The team has spent millions of dollars in stadium upgrades and renovations.
“While the survey’s about being a season ticket holder and that experience, it also is connected to the experience – overall – and coming to stadiums around the league and here – specifically – of course Lambeau Field,” said Packers spokesperson Aaron Popkey.
But some fans say they question what needs to be changed.
“I wouldn’t know what they can change – off hand,” said Packers fan Don Krupp, who tries to attend nearly every home game, each season. “I think it’s good the way they have it set up, it is very good right now.”
One improvement the Packers are working on for this season is improving cellular phone connectivity in and around the stadium on game days. Popkey says the team hopes to have that figured out in the coming months.
