Oshkosh man arrested in heroin investigation

OSHKOSH – Police have forwarded one count of first degree reckless homicide to the Winnebago County District Attorney’s Office against 23-year-old man of Oshkosh for the death of a 22-year-old woman.

The man was arrested for a probation hold on May 31, 2014 and is currently in the Winnebago County Jail.

Oshkosh Police discovered during an investigation that the man had sold heroin to a 22-year-old woman from Oshkosh on May 30, 2014. At about 11:20 p.m. police responded to a call in the 1700 block of Glenwood Drive where the woman was found dead from acute heroin intoxication.
