BROWN COUNTY – The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge continues, this time its members of the Brown County Board.
After being challenged by several public officials in our area, the board doused themselves at the Green Bay farmers market Saturday.
They, in turn, nominated the Outagamie County Board of supervisors and County Executive Tom Nelson.
Brown County Executive Troy Streckenbach said he was happy to bring people together for the challenge.
“I’m excited that we’re doing this as a community. We’re really showing that the Brown County Board of Supervisors along with the County Executive, we understand about the importance of community and working together on initiatives,” said County Executive Troy Streckenbach.
According to the ALS Foundation, more than $62 million has been raised through the challenge.
