MILWAUKEE – More than a dozen people had to wait out an electrical failure on a ride above the Milwaukee County Zoo.
The Sky Glider, owned by a company separate from the zoo, stopped this afternoon for about a half hour.
Eventually a back up system restarted the ride.
A zoo representative says everything was done orderly and nobody panicked. They also say the zoo practices regularly for malfunctions, such as this.
The ride was closed for the rest of the day and will be inspected and repaired as necessary before re-opening.
