Wisconsin bonus antlerless tags to go on sale

MADISON (AP) – Deer hunters can start buying bonus antlerless tags next week.

Antlerless tags will be available in 55 county units this year. Every hunting license includes one tag valid in the central and southern farmland zones.

Bonus tags will go on sale in waves next week. Tags for the northern and central forest zones will go on sale Monday morning. Tags for the central farmland zone will go on sale Tuesday. Southern farmland zone tags will go on sale Wednesday. All tags will go on sale Thursday.

Hunters can purchase one tag per day through the state Department of Natural Resources’ website or through licensed vendors. They cost $12 for state residents, $5 for 10- and 11-year-olds and $20 for adult non-residents.
