New owners bring changes to Norway Ski Hill

VULCAN, MI – After being closed for 2 years, Norway Ski Hill in Norway Michigan, can finally re-open.

Wautoma residents Neill and Kristine Urban bought the ski resort and a complete renovation is underway.

The resort is gaining two new terrain parks, some new glade runs and air bag jumps. All the old runs that were there will still be open.

The whole lodge is also being updated, including the bar, restaurant cafeteria, ski shop, and rental areas.

The renovations should be complete just in time for skiiers this winter.

The Urbans also have plans to keep the resort open all year by adding mountain biking competition trails, summer concerts and festivals and other activities.

The resort will also feature a full banquet facility available for weddings and other events.

The new additions to the resort will bring in 120 new jobs.
