Search on after suspect leads police chase, steals 3 vehicles

FOND DU LAC – The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Department is looking for a driver officials say stole three cars and led deputies on a chase.

The sheriff’s department says around 10:30 Saturday night a deputy tried to pull over a vehicle on State Highway 175 for reckless driving.

The driver didn’t pull over. After an 11.5 mile chase, the driver eventually crashed the vehicle in a ditch in Dodge County. This vehicle was reportedly stolen from the city of Berlin.

Sheriff’s officials say the driver ran away and stole a second vehicle near the crash scene. Sheriff deputies later located that vehicle in the town of Oakfield in Fond du Lac County.

The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Department then took a report of a third vehicle stolen in that area. That vehicle was last seen in Dodge County.

There were no injuries reported in these incidents.
