OAK CREEK – Remembrances will be held Tuesday in Oak Creek, two years after a deadly shooting at the Sikh Temple of Wisconsin.
The ceremony will begin at 8:00 p.m.
Six people were killed and four were hurt in the 2012 attack.
Hundreds gathered at the temple for a special Sunday prayer service to remember those who died.
Oak Creek’s mayor, Steven Scaffid, says it’s important to remember the victims, “We lost friends and family and anytime you re-visit that it’s hard to do. But it’s also a celebration of their lives.”
The motive of the gunman, who killed himself, remains unknown.
