APPLETON – The Appleton Police Department is opening its doors to visitors who want to check out its collection of law enforcement artifacts rarely seen by the public.
Items including albums of photos and news clippings, police memorabilia and antique equipment will be on display.
These items have been collected throughout the years by Arnie Nettekoven, the department’s historian and volunteer who is also retired from the department.
The event runs from 9 a.m. to noon.
Fox 11 Pauleen Le spent the morning checking out what’s on display.
