OSHKOSH – After a week of aviation paradise, the 62nd annual EAA AirVenture comes to an end today.
For the past week, hundreds of thousands of visitors have packed into Wittman field to check out planes of all kinds of shapes and sizes as well as the air shows.
The Thunderbirds’ debut at AirVenture also drew in big crowds.
Back for the first time in nearly 40 years, the One Week Wonder should be near completion today. Volunteers have spent the last week attempting to build an airplane. The goal is to taxi it later today.
FOX 11’s Pauleen Le spent the morning checking out the last day of AirVenture.
