BERLIN- A groundbreaking was held Monday for a new Boys and Girls Club in Berlin.
A new 25,000 square foot building will be built where the old one currently is.
Marc Dosogne, CEO of The Boys and Girls Club of Oshkosh, said a new building is what the community needs.
“This is really an exciting moment for the community, not just the community of Berlin, but for the Tri-County Area,” said Dosogne. “This is going to mean a lot for families and kids in the terms of the future.”
Dosogne also said with more space, the club can provide more programs and more activities than ever before.
Dosogne expects the new building to be ready early next year.
