GREEN BAY – Jordy Nelson has been one of the Green Bay Packers most consistent wide receivers the last three years, which has reportedly earned him a four-year, $39 million extension to his current contract.

The signing was announced Saturday morning by Ted Thompson, Executive Vice President, General Manager and Director of Football Operations.

Nelson led the Packers last year with 1314 yards, 10th in the league, on 85 catches, including 8 touchdowns.

“Jordy’s hard work and dedication has made him a good player, teammate and a core member of this team. We are pleased to come to an agreement that will extend his Packers career,” Thompson said.
