Carne Asada


2 to 4 pound Flank or Skirt Steak

1 Lime, Juiced

1 Lemon , Juiced

½ cup Orange Juice

1/3 Cup Soy Sauce

2 tablespoons Chili Powder

1 tablespoon dried Oregano Leaves

2 tablespoons ground cumin

6 Garlic Cloves, coarsely chopped

3 Sliced Jalapeno Peppers (optional)

1 medium sized yellow or White Onion, sliced

Flour or Corn Tortillas, taco or fajita sized size

Your favorite taco fixin’s


Whisk together fruit juices and spice.   Please marinade in a one gallon Ziploc  Bag.   Add the meat into the mixture and move it around to make sure all of the meat gets covered with sauce. Marinate to 5-24 hours. Overnight is best for full flavor.  Grill meat to your liking. Slice the meat into thin strips against the grain. Serve meat in warmed tortillas with your favorite taco fixin’s.
