APPLETON – People unleashed their inner artist in Appleton Friday.
It’s part of the annual “Chalk the Town” event, as a special feature to the 2014 “Art On The Town” series.
The event gives people a chance to get in touch with their creative side.
The theme this year was “Suess-Scrapes” or scenes from Dr. Seuss.
Those at the event say chalk is pretty forgiving if mistakes are made.
Mandy Anthony of Neenah says, “if they made a mistake or anything like that they can color right over it and it’s easy to change and I think that’s why they really like it.”
The “Art on the Town” series runs through September.
