APPLETON – More than 200 performers plan to converge on downtown Appleton next month for the second Mile of Music festival.
The final lineup, released Friday, includes both local and national acts. The original singer-songwriters, combos and bands run the gamut of styles from indie rock to country, soul, blues and folk.
Organizers say the 213 acts will give more than 600 live performances along College Avenue and the Fox River. More than 60 venues, from restaurants and coffeehouses to bars and retail shops, are hosting the concerts.
Mile of Music is scheduled for Aug. 7-10.
