GREEN BAY – A woman pleaded no contest Monday to a reduced charge for the murder of her boyfriend.

Tricia Phillips shot David Rosenberg in the head in August during a fight at a Howard residence.

She was charged with first-degree intentional homicide, but the plea deal Monday – the day her trial was supposed to start – reduced the count to second-degree reckless homicide.

She was also convicted of aggravated battery. She faces a maximum of 45 years in prison at her Sept. 18 sentencing.
